Trawl has no accounts. It keeps what it needs to run, bill and support each job, and nothing about you as a person.

What we keep for each job

  • The request: the filter, the epoch range, and the IDL if you send one.
  • The quote: the archive size, the price and the asset.
  • The payment: the transaction and the wallet address that paid. Both are public on the Solana chain.
  • The job record: its state, its times, the list of result files and their size, and any error.
  • A credit, if the job fails.

We keep job records to answer questions and to issue credits and refunds. To ask us to delete a job record, write to contact@trawl.run with the job id.

The result files

The result is in Cloudflare R2, under your job id. R2 deletes each file 7 days after the scan writes it. Anybody with the job id or a download URL can read it until then.

What we do not collect

No name, no email address (unless you write to us), no account, no cookies, and no analytics or tracking scripts.

Who else sees data

  • Cloudflare serves the site and the API, and so processes each request, with your IP address.
  • Google Fonts serves the fonts of these pages, and so sees the IP address of your browser.
  • A cloud provider runs the scan machine. Your filter and IDL go to that machine, which exists for your job only.
  • The x402 facilitator checks and settles your payment.
  • The Solana chain makes each payment public.
