About Trawl
Trawl is a pay-per-scan service for Solana history. It reads the public archive of every Solana block for the range you name, keeps what matches your filter, decodes it, and gives you Parquet files.
Updated
Why it exists
Solana history is public, and the tools to read it are open source. But a team that needs one table about the past must build an engine, write a decoder, and rent a machine near the archive. Most teams need this a few times, not every day. Trawl does that work once, and sells the result of each scan.
What a job uses
| Data | The public Old Faithful archive: one file for each epoch since genesis. The Solana Foundation funds its storage. |
| Machine | One dedicated machine for each job, next to the archive. We delete it when the job ends. |
| Results | Cloudflare R2. Each file is deleted 7 days after the scan writes it. |
| Payment | x402, in USDC on Solana. No account. |
Tested on real epochs
From August to October 2026 we ran scans on real epochs, and fixed each problem that a first test does not show. The problems are on the error notes page. The setup is our work, so you do not have to do it.
Independence
Trawl is independent. It is not part of Anza, Triton One or the Solana Foundation. It uses the public Old Faithful archive and open-source code.
